This Michaelmas Term I have been handed a number of additional responsibilities at the Oxford University Department for Continuing Education (OUDCE). The main new job is that I have been commissioned to develop and author an online course in Animal Behaviour at a first year university level aimed at the general public (and accredited at 10 CATS points). I have also been appointed Commissioning Editor for Short Online Courses in the Biological Sciences and finally I am involved in a successful NERC Postgraduate & Professional Skills Development Award, where the Department offers a free course in Multivariate Statistics for NERC funded postgraduate and early career researchers in February of next year. See here for more details.

Unfortunately these additional responsibilities has meant that I no longer have sufficient time for continuing in my role as Fellowship Advisor for the Daphne Jackson Trust, so I have regretfully had to resign from that job and had my last working day here in November.
