The new open access journal Frontiers in Arachnid Science, of which I am an associate editor, for the Arachnid Ecology and Behaviour, has launched. The journal aims to publish high quality research in all areas of arachnid (mainly spiders, harvestmen, scorpions, mites and ticks as well as smaller arachnid groups) science ranging from fundamental research on morphology, ecology and behaviour of arachnids to applied research with financial or health impacts on human society.
